Sammie is the beneficiary of my new found hobby- inspired by Marisa at New Dress A Day
Here are my after pictures… I didn’t think to take before pictures. I’ll do more of that another time I guess!

A little blue shirt that did NOTHING for certain parts of my anatomy and I got it for free from a friend. It’s hard to see the sleeves, but Sammie’s favorite part is the ruffles on the sleeves. It’s a sweater so I cut the sleeves and re attached them higher so it fit her better. I added a belt loop on either side with the same ribbon and tied the bow.

This was my dress I wore in my skinnier days. It was pretty tight on me even then through the top and so I was going to donate it anyway. I had to do the same sleeve trick and then used the leftover material from the bottom of the overlay to cover up my botchy hand stitching. Those sleeves are not going anywhere that is for sure!
Full length with some attitude and white socks. This one had two sets of ribbon on each side that I use to tie into bows and I just untied them and tied them around her waist instead.
Kind of a dopey face here, but this one is actually her favorite. Got it at a yard sale thought it looked bigger on the wrack that it really was. Same trick with the sleeves, didn’t have to hem it at all- it actually hits me about the same place- scary that.
Side View.

The back- I cut out the ribbons to hang it up easier and sewed them into the back of the dress to tie it up tighter on her tiny waist.
We Match! Sammie insisted on this photo. :)
This one only needed the strap trick and a belt that Sammie already had that I just took the Hannah Montano logo stars off of. Kind of a side note, but doesn’t her scar look great??
This one looks cuter on that this picture shows. She’s kind of standing at a weird angle. I think we need some chunky silver sparkly jewelry. Maybe we can treat her to a stop at Claire’s since she got all of these clothes for free!

Just because he’s cute.
