We always get new pj’s – this was a sponge bob year.  The kids got a real kick out of it.

 

 

Spencer was laughing so hard he couldn’t make it in time to look up.

Family pj picture 2010.  They were tickled that mom and dad had some too.  This is the first and probably only year we manage this, but it was worth the effort for the laughter and screaming it caused last night.

Our tree Christmas eve morning- when we open our gifts so we can go out of town to see our family.  We are so blessed to live so close to most of our family, we get to see them every holiday and spend Christmas with them every year.

The boys and gingerbread houses… if you can call them that.

Some friends invited us over to make gingerbread houses- here’s what the kids came up with.  Tyler didn’t know when to quit.  Poor guy- his looks more like a gingerbread volcano than a house.

What are they thinking?

Today was Sammie’s winter party at school.  To make her look more festive we put ribbons in her hair. 

One funny thing was that she said almost all of the girls she came in contact with said they liked her ribbons and none of the boys said anything.  Then she said “I wonder what those boys are thinking anyway”   I laughed and welcomed her to womanhood and that age old question!

Tyler's 5th birthday

I don’t have pictures of every party- there were 3 of them! But here’s the main event at Taco Bell. (Tyler’s pick)I also added the invitation I emailed to those coming. We invited 2 kids (one from each school) so we didn’t want to take invitations into school.

He had a great time! I have to say I will do a party there again. It was perfect. I deleted the personal info.
