22 for 2022

What is 22 for 2022?

Gretchen Rubin, an author and podcaster who focuses on happiness, chooses yearly "aims" that are not big enough to be called a New Years Resolution, but are still important to her overall happiness.  She uses the year to determine how many happiness aims she will work toward so for 2022 she found 22 things she wanted to do that would increase her chance at happiness.  She shares them on her podcast "Happier with Gretchen Rubin."

This will be my second year participating in this challenge.  Last year I chose 21 things to do in 2021 and created a physical vision board for my office so I would see it as a reminder each day.  Some of the aims I checked off included reading 3 self-help books, buying cute stamps and sending more notecards to friends and family, visiting my sister Chrystal, and fixing the grout in the hall bathroom.  The examples were varied and manageable.

My 22 for 2022

For 2022, instead of creating a physical vision board, I used what I am learning in my Social Media Marketing certificate to create a digital vision board for my computer.  I also added it as a widget on my phone so I see it every day!

So, here's my 22 for 2022 list.  I hope it continues to inspire me to make choices that will make me a little happier. Remember to keep your list simple to complete, random and include a lot of one off ideas to keep the list manageable.
