Tyler’s Baptism December 7th 2013

Tyler has been waiting for this day for a long time.  It was a wonderful day of family and friends and Tyler felt very special to have so many people we love come to see him get baptized. 

 

Tyler’s 2 favorite buddies came to support him.  Ryan and Rhys have been in his life since pre school!

A few more taken by my talented sister in law Alexis- and I can’t believe we didn’t get a picture with them!

Too bad we couldn’t convince Spencer to join us.

It was a wonderful day.  Thanks again for all who came to make this day special for Tyler.

December Fun

Our Christmas party at church had a nativity.  Sammie was one of the shepherds because she sang a song in it.  I just love this.

 

We got together with some of our favorite people to decorate Christmas trees.  It’s just a sugar cone upside down with frosting and candy.  Our way to do a food craft egg free since ginger bread never works out.

 

Spencer’s is in the back- half eaten.  ha ha.  He didn’t get the point of a photo shoot. 

Tyler’s 8!

He has been waiting and waiting for this birthday.  He is getting baptized in a few weeks and he’s the last one in his class to turn 8!

We did an indoor campout birthday party this year.  I didn’t take pictures of all of the activities, but we had a bear hunt with marshmallow guns, fished over the deck for smores fixings, watched a movie under a tent, did a marshmallow spoon race, and campfire bingo.  It was a fun night!

 

 

We had a lower key family activity on his actual birthday and he was super excited about a few of his presents.  We went to the magic house on his birthday just us and then Sunday we had family over for a chili dinner.  I got no pictures of that one darn it. 

This was a super fun birthday for our little guy. 

November 2013

 

Sammie did a story time at our house for kids ages 3-5 from our church and neighborhood for personal progress. 

She and her friend Emma had a lot of fun putting it all together.  This was the fall themed story time, but she also did a Christmas one and an “all about bugs” one. 

We also reorganized Sammie’s room.  It is a pretty small room so for years we had a loft bed in her room to help her with space.  She decided recently though that she wanted a normal bed so we dug this one out of storage and she absolutely loves it. 

We sent a bunch of these invitations out to family and friends for Tyler’s baptism coming up.  He is so excited!

We also had a certain little guys birthday, but that’s going to be in a separate post.

A visit from some of our favorite people

Uncle Brian and Aunt Laura live close to us so we see them more than any other family and man do we love it.  Here’s a few shots Tyler took of a Sunday afternoon dinner and fun.
