We try to spend each New Years Eve with our friends the Longs. We play games and celebrate Meghan’s birthday.
Quirkle was the game of the night. It’s our favorite new game this year.
They got the kids an ice cream maker and we made homemade ice cream for dessert! Super fun.

We left for Springfield on New Years Day to welcome this little one to the family- Ella Leona Burnett. Named for my mother- Leona.
She spent the first day in ICU, but then was moved up to her momma’s room. We were excited to get to hold her. I’m to be one of this baby girl’s godmother’s and I am so pleased to finally meet her!

We loved ringing in the new year with friends and new babies. Ella was born new years eve and we are just thrilled to start this new year off with a baby in the family.
